The fishing up and down the Mississippi River year-round is fantastic. From pros to beginners, we have fishing enthusiasts of all kinds stay at the Safe Landing Motel.

Clements Fishing Barge is only 7 miles south of the motel. Visitors find that bowfishing is fantastic on the river. Ice fishing is also fantastic in our area.

For nearby fishing, the Stoddard Islands are located directly behind the motel. The Stoddard Islands, built by the Army Corp of Engineers have created an area right off the boat launch that has resulted in excellent fishing. Perch, Bluegill, Crappies, Northern and Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass – just to name a few. There’s plenty of Trout to be found in the streams to the east, off the main river.
